Charcuterie Board Class

6:00 PM | President's Club Room - Lumpkin Center

Join us for a charcuterie board making class with alumna, Jenna Poole, owner of Custom Cake Studio. Attendees will snack on charcuterie and a dessert bar. Tickets are $20 per person and include charcuterie supplies and 2 drink tickets. Advanced registration is required.

Alumni Recognition Awards Program 
12:00 PM | Elizabeth Bradley Turner Center

Join us as we celebrate and honor CSU alumni who are doing great things in their community and as CSU and the Alumni Association present its highest recognition: Thomas Y. Whitley Distinguished Alumni Award and the Frank D. Brown Achievement and Leadership Excellence Award. Other awards will be given in the following categories: Alumni Service, Young Alumnus, Distinguished Alumnus in Military/Public Service, and Faculty / Staff Recognition. Cost is $5 per person. 8th Annual Downtown Domination 
CSU Homecoming Parade
6:30 PM | Down Broadway
Line up on Broadway to celebrate students, alumni, and community through a colorful spirited parade! Wear your red, white, and blue!  Stick around for the Uptown Concert Series presented by Columbus State.

 

Saturday, OCTOBER 1

CougarFest
12:00 PM | Walden Soccer Complex

Inspired by Oktoberfest, Cougarfest will feature selections of craft beer from around the country. The guys from Maltitude will be on site to help expand your knowledge of craft beer! For $10, each attendee will receive sample tickets and a commemorative beer glass. Tickets for food only or for participants under the age of 21 are $5. Tickets are available online until September 29th. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Register here.

 

Tailgating

As a part of CougarFest, pack a cooler and join the fun! Alumni are invited to tailgate on CSU's main campus prior to the women's soccer game. Come join the fun and bring your family!


Homecoming Women's Soccer Game

2:00 PM | Walden Soccer Complex

Cheer on the Lady Cougars as they take on Georgia Southwestern State University with the whole family! The Homecoming King & Queen will be announced during halftime of the game. The game is free and open to the public.  

 

Club Football Game vs Middle Georgia State University

4:00 PM | Memorial Stadium

Cheer on the our Club Football team as they take on the Knights of Middle Georgia State University.

 

Movie on the River

Gates open at 7:00 PM | Phenix City Amphitheater

Bring your family to take in an outdoor showing of Jurassic World: Dominion with the entire CSU family. Gates open at 7 p.m., so come early to grab a bite to eat, reserve your spot and enjoy some pre-movie music under the stars. The movie on the big screen will begin at sundown. This event is free and open to the public. The first 30 alumni to visit the CSU tent will receive a concessions voucher.
