In the fall of 1963, John Townsend entered Columbus College as its first Black American student. Join CSU's Black Alumni Council on Wednesday, November 4th at 6PM for a Courageous Conversation moderated by alumna Maria Moss, B.S. '04, owner and principal consultant at Phoenix Leadership Solutions. Our conversation will cover Dr. Townsend's time at Columbus State and his life and successes after. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for a Q&A portion of the program. We will be raffling off five copies of Dr. Townsend's book Extraordinary Courage: My Life on the Columbus College Campus. Spaces are limited, register today!
